Oh the fun I have had

Okay so if you haven't noticed the theme of my blog lately is sickness. Well I have been the good mama and taken my kids in when they were sick. However I am a hypocrite and never went in. I HATE going to the Dr, so I avoid it at all costs. I tried to treat my colds, etc on my own with natural stuff and it helped a bit, sometimes curing it. Still I think a bit lingered. I went to the Dr. today and I found out that I have a double ear infection (I thought only kids got those??) and a nasty sinus infection. The Dr gave me an antibiotic and some flonase. He told me I have to get my bad allergies in tact to keep from getting so sick again. So I am drugged up good at the moment..ibuprofin, cipro, flonase, nyquil. Boy I feel weird.

I better get better fast because I hate being out of comisson. I have had to cancel playdates, Activity Days, my visiting tecahers from coming and I have missed 3 T-Ball games. Emmalee is bored out of her mind. I think so much candyland and old maid is too much for her. There are parts of my house you do not want to enter. My dear sweet husband helped me with the laundry this weekend and with the kids cleaned a bit. Mike has also made a lot of dinners this last week. I love him so much! I am so thankful for my family and the help they are. My mom came to visit saturday. Mike was out on a Scout campout, so it was me against the kiddos. (It wasn't too bad). She took one look at me and sent me to bed and took care of the kids. I slept for 4..yes 4 hours! I haven't been sleeping well in weeks because of this so it was so wonderful. I hope I am better by the weekend because Mike and I had planned to go out on a date.

Emmalee is going to start preschool in the fall. A girl in my ward's mom used to work at Dawson's school and even developed some of the curriculums there. So it is exactly where I want Emmalee to go. I am so excited for her and for me! She is getting so bored at home and I can look forward to alone, one on one time with my little guy Peyton. I also can't wait to see all she will learn!

I Heart Tiffany Larsen

Okay so I was downloading some of my old CD's that I hadn't got around to downloading yet. I came across Grease and I thought of Tiffany. We have been friends for 12 yearsnow..can you believe it Tiff?? We have been through so much together be it rough breakups, Provo, College, Marriage and Babies (our oldest babes are 22 days apart and betrothed), and the saddest for me was when she moved to North Carolina 2 years ago. We still talk as much as we can and of all my friends it never feels like we have been apart. I am not much of a phone talker, but with her I can talk for hours. I miss you so much and that song ade me think of all our fun times! Here are some pics. They are actually pics of pics since it was before the digi age and my scanner sucks, lol.

Provo Life. I loved our townhouse. Tiff do you remember the Deer Stew?? I still Cannot eat deer meat. I just think of a big gob of deer fur, lol!!

First here are some pics of Dawson's T-Ball team. They are all doing great and improving each week. It has been fun to watch them as a ball flies into the field they all run from different directions to the center to catch the ball or how some of the will get distracted when running the bases or some will even slide each and every base. It is priceless!!
























A few weeks ago Mike and I went to Nascar. Okay stop laughing, seriously it was fun. Mike's company offered suite tickets in Troy Aikmen's suite. Mike and I are not into Nascar but we had a blast! We got to walk a lot (like 3 miles, so I got my exercise in for the day!). We went on a pit tour, which was way cool. I loved feeling the wind whip by as the cars were doing practice laps. In the suite we got headsets and could listen to the drivers talk to their crew. I listened to the commentators and Kyle Busch mostly..he was so freakin' funny! He ran an awesome race and won. It was amazing to see how fast the cars were going and to feel it. It doesn't sound anything like it does on TV. I can honestly say I would love to go again next year. The pit crews are unbelievably fast during pit time too.

I had to put a plug in for my new obsession! I love the Twilight series and I am reading them for the second time to bide my time till #1 book 4 comes out in August and #2 the Movie

I am obsessed! I have to look for movie clips each day. I hope that I can be patient, lol. I told Mike waiting for this is worse than waiting for Batman Dark Knight..which is out soon!! I wasn't sure on who they chose as edward at first, but after seeing their chemistry and how much his mannerisms look like how I pictured Edward's I think he will do great!
