Very Sad Day for Conservatie Republicans

I have never been much for politics until now. I saw how bad our country has gotten in the last eight years (actually more than that). I knew that this years race would be extremely important. I was gonna vote for McCain until I found out some things I really do not like, then I heard about Mitt Romney. I was cautious about giving him my vote.

I am also Mormon and so I wanted more than that reason to vote for him. WE here in Arizona saw how that backfired when Evan Mecham was elected Governor. Alt of people in my ward growing up voted for him based on his faith. I am proud to say my parent's didn't vote for him. We all know how that ended.

So I really delved into the candidates and I agree with Mitt on all his issues. I was so happy to see a very conservative republican running. It really makes me sad that so many people would agree with Mitt on his issues but instead vote for someone they didn't agree with, someone who is so far liberal he should be a democrat..just because Mitt is a mormon. Last I checked we do not have horns growing out of our heads and we are great people with great morals.

Mike called me and gave me the news that Mitt conceeded. Growing up everything made me cry. I have toughened over the years and it takes alot to make me cry. Well I cried today. I understand why he did it, but it just makes me so sad that he was in that circumstance to conceed.

I just hope Mitt will run again in 2012 when people see they need someone like him to fix america!
